Focus on participation-level goals

    

Emphasise the involvement of the client in goal-setting .

    

Ensure all clinicians have conversations with the client about the client’s goals. 

    

When necessary have more than one meeting with the client to identify their goals – dependent on client age, nature and severity of injury and adjustment to injury

    

Use rehabilitation plans as part of a goal setting and review process

    

Use team meetings or case conferences review client goals and assessment results as well as develop action plans

    

Work from the basis that an Interdisciplinary collaborative approach is best practice
